MLCS 1-1/2" Core Box Router Bits creates a semi-circular groove or channel in a workpiece.
The bit has a rounded, U-shaped cutting edge that is designed to carve out a groove with a consistent radius.
The groove can be used to add a decorative edge to a table or shelf, or to create a channel for a cable or wire to pass through.
The resulting groove will be smooth and consistent, with a rounded bottom that matches the shape of the bit.
Designed for reeding, fluting, veining, grooving or add a round bottom detail.
Will plunge cut in soft or hard woods as well as composition materials.
